IHCCof VA Meeting, December 11, 2016
The meeting was called to order by Steve Kegley.
A message from the President, Tinker Moats, was read by Jennifer congratulating the club on a
very good year.
Copies of the Minutes from the October Meeting were passed out for the members to look at.
An overview was given by the Secretary, Cynthia Shaver. A motion was made to approve the
minutes as presented. It was seconded and approved.
The Treasurer’s Report was given by Jennifer Puffenbarger. The balance in the checking
account is $4061.92. A motion was made to accept the report. It was seconded and approved.
The report for Relay for Life was given by Becky Seal. 132 pumpkin rolls were made and sold
which made $1050.00 for Relay for Life. The total for Relay for Life was $1400.00. Becky
noted that all donations for the Relay for Life Auction needed to be in to her or David by April 1,
2017. She has applications for anyone who would like to be on the Relay for Life Team.
New Business: There will be a tentative Schedule of Events in the Winter Newsletter.
There will be a Plow Day April 1, 2017 with a rain date of April 8, 2017. There will also be a Fall
Festival, October 14, 2017, at the Brent Fries farm in Timberville. More information on both of
these activities will be in the Winter Newsletter.
As sponsors for our Summer Show were invited to our meeting and dinner, we were happy to
recognize Highway Motors. We are very grateful for the support they give to our Summer Show.
Recognition was also given to new members at our meeting.
The IHC Club has been invited to attend a fair at the Yellow Barn at Shenandoah Caverns on
November 11, 2017.
At the end of the meeting Steve Kegley again noted that the Club had a good year.
As there was no other business, a motion was made to adjourn and begin our Christmas
Dinner. It was seconded and approved.
