IHCC 41 Business Meeting, October 20, 2018
The meeting was called to order by Tyrone Scott.
The minutes from the August meeting were read. As there were no corrections or additions a
motion was made to accept the minutes as read. It was seconded and approved.
Old Business: The Pedal Pulls at Luray and Somerset went very well.
New Business: Some items need to be ordered to restock the trailer. These are the items that
the club sells at the various functions we participate in. If we order now, we can get a 20%
discount. Winona Scott made a motion that we order the items needed. It was seconded and
approved. The items will be at the Christmas Dinner on December 9, 2018. We will have a
short meeting before the meal.
The club needs to have a Farmall work day. Everyone needs to think about when we want to
do it. There will be discussion later.
We still have the mower that needs to be worked on. There is $1000.00 in a trust for IH. We
have someone who will sandblast, primer and paint it for $900.00. Eddie Bartley made a
motion that we pay this lady to do the work. Mark Tinus seconded it. The motion carried. Also
we have the Cub Cadet that was given to the club for our auction. It needs to be rebuilt and
painted.
The Cub Cadet will be taken to East Rockingham High School. The FFA will do the labor on the
Cub. The FFA will take it to their Show in 2018 and 2019. Rebecca Holloway is in charge of the
FFA classes.The Cub Cadet will be finished and shown at our 2019 Summer Show. It will be
auctioned off at our 2020 Summer Show.
There was discussion about the shirts for the Summer Show featuring the Irma Hardy Home
Line. Bobby Menefee made a motion that we feature the Irma Hardy Home Line. It was
seconded by Eddie Bartley. The motion was approved.
Tyrone gave the figures for the sandwiches made from 8:30 until 12:00. We made 585
sandwiches. Tyrone donated his charcoal for cooking the pork loins.

As there was no other business Bill Shaver made a motion to adjourn. It was seconded by Jerry
McDonald. The motion was approved.
